    John - so did you get your billing mechanism fixed? Or did you, upon further review, realize that the bill you sent was indeed accurate, and put the proceeds into an interest bearing account until they noticed the error was on their part?

    That's a nice little story...Maybe one of the fringe benefits of Jill Konrath's "Selling to Big Companies" and another reason to read her blog.

    I would find it very hard to hand back a cheque that big! Forget the billing mechanism issues if they are going to give you a hard time for doing the right thing by them :)
