I also have been enjoying Jott. I think it has something to do with being 40 something and needing to send myself my thoughts because I can lose them walking from one room to another.

For quite some time now I have been sending myself SMS messages or leaving voicemail messages on my home phone to listen back to later. Is this really a viable business idea? or have we always had the ability to do this just before it didn't look quite so web 2.0ish?

Well, I thought it a great idea too, but JakeNudge is right. I have a voice recorder in my phone and in my Ipod which I both use often. I can mail or SMS drafts to my blog ...
