I am absolutely in love with Google Reader. I have made it my homepage so that I can scan the latest posts really quickly when I boot up my computer. Lots of my favorite info fast. What could be better?

Great list John. I was looking for Flickr photos for a blog post today, and your link to a previous post (how to use Flickr for blog images) was more than helpful.

Glad to know as well that we are on the right track with a lot of these things, including using Google Alerts to monitor mentions. Have you also seen http://www.SocialMention.com?

Awesome list. I am using a lot of the tools you have listed. I would include Hootsuite.com for those who want to organize their tweets with a web based tool. I would also include the Jing Project and Camtasia Studio. Both are products from Techsmith and are great for screen and video capture for those of us who are still using PC's.

Great list - I need to check out the screen capture software you recommend. I also love Evernote - have you tried it? You can sync your notes between computers, iPhone etc.
